Hello,

I just tried this and it still does not behave as I expect. In the above example I expect to see just 'TWO' elements to the accordion.... Toggle One and Toggle two until Toggle One is expanded... What I see is all Toggles not just the two.

Thoughts?

Hi, I have WordPress version 2.9.2 and for the life of me I can't figure out why moo tools js will not work. I have tried the manual version of superslider slider on the 1.2 framework as well as your word-press version it seems as if there is a conflict somewhere I fairly certain the java-script is just not loading. My website is currently being developed so Id prefer if I didn't post the full address it on this forum. I'd really like to use this slider and hopefully you can help me out.

Hi Daiv

I'm enjoying the wonderful superslider show and have it working fine.

However, one main issue - I have installed crafty syntax live chat and now the slideshow is not working in Firefox! However, everything works perfectly fine in IE.

Any ideas on how I might be able to fix this?
Admittedly, I am running a previous version of your code, simply because I haven't had the time to upgrade (I made quite a few mods!)

http://www.purpledogdesign.com/

Odd thing is it works for a few seconds on this page then stops!:
http://www.purpledogdesign.com/clients/

Your opinion please!

Thanks

Again,
you seem to have a jquery slideshow on this mentioned page. Not the mootools superslider-show plugin.
Perhaps you've de activated it again...

With the SuperSlider-Show WP-plugin
1)setting the linkto per image, you can select from;
a)the image for a pop over.
b)the image as attachment (goes to the attachment page)
c)the image's parent page which if you have used post ids to pull images from other posts this will then link to the image's parent post.

2)<strike>If you have 7 images and only 6 thumbs show, check for a 404(not found) on the 7th image</strike>
The seventh image is there, your js is failing to calculate the thickness of the image border added via css.
change this:

#slider img {
-moz-border-radiu:4px;
border:1px solid #666666;
cursor:pointer;
float:left !important;
padding:2px;
}
http://www.giannisolfrini.it/wp-content/plugins/slideshow-gallery/css/gallery-css.php

to :
border:0px solid #666666;
and you will see your 7th image thumbnail.

3)If it's not perfect in safari...what's wrong? what isn't as expected?
if this issue with slideshow-gallery plugin? or SuperSlider-Show plugin?

FYI. I am not the developer of the slideshow-gallery plugin.

I hope you get this worked out to your requirements.

Hey OnlyWarsaw,

forum seams to have blocked this post automatically.
sorry about that. Maybe because of the links.
Any way down to your issue.

easy fix..
get the css file which you are using for the plugin.
open it to #loginpanel {
add this:

#loginpanel {
display:none;
...
}

then the java script will automatically change that to display:block;

HTH
I'll add this to the next update.

Hi,

I have a simple but irritating problem. Your SuperSlider-Menu (which I simply love!) blinks when website is being loaded in the Firefox browser (in Safari and Chrome no such problem at all). It happens with both my webpage - [url=http://onlywarsaw.com] - and wp-slider.com.

I made a short movie showing you the problem:
Thing is, superslider plugins work with mootools.
All the same I do believe there is a solution,
If I can apply it successfully, I'll get it into the next update.

Yup, noticed this myself,
Seams to be a byproduct of the recomended function for adding the direct link to the plugin settings page. Notice the link to settings beside the deactivation link for the plugin.

Please NOTE: although he mentions "Tabbed Widgets" - that was a typo - I (at first) thought the conflict came from that plugin, not from yours. Later, I isolated my plugins one at a time, and discovered the issue was actually with yours. Erik said "Tabbed Widgets" but he meant to say "Superslider" in the communication I quoted above.

Thanks again for looking into this.

Below, I quote the part of an exchange I had with the developer of a plugin I use (the Zingiri Free Web Cart), named Erik. He asked me to suggest a technical fix to you that might help reduce some of the compatibility issues with other plugins.

Please have a look, and if you can - perhaps you would consider his suggestion, if it seems appropriate to you..

Timothy,

I checked the prototype and jquery compatibility issue. There is a solution, however it is on the jQuery side.
This will sound a bit technical but I'm sure the tabbed widgets author will understand:

Both jquery and prototype use the $ function. There is a possibility in jquery to rename that function to something else. That way prototype can continue using $ and jquery will use another function name.

Maybe the author of the tabbed widgets plugin can consider taking this into account in a future release?

Regards,

On the navigation subject, is it possible to add links to the lightshow enlarged images? At present, when I click on a slideshow image that's linked to the lightbox, I don't get any backwards / forwards or"close this" options - even though there are 10 slides in the slideshow.

Hey sol,
glad to hear you enjoy superslider plugins.
That theme you've linked to looks great.
Worth 32$.

You could edit the css of ss-show to get a similar look.
but the multi level item slide isn't part of the slideshow code.

That would require a new plugin ... and I'm busy with a different new plugin ...
post to post navigation ... coming soon.

Hello Daiv, how you going mate.

Thanks for all your hard work on this - awesome!

I am looking for something like this:

Before I even attempt to think about how to get Super Slideshow to be able to do this, do you have any suggestions? Has it been done already?

Basically, I love superslider and the ease with which it can be integrated into a site. So before I go off looking at another solution, I was kinda hoping I might find a way with this plugin.
Cheers

Hello ehess.

Main error most users have with the mooflow plugin is forgetting to add an attached image to the post or page. This attached image doesn't show in the mooflow.

How ever, in your case, yes you have mootools loaded twice.
sliding-door/imagemenu/mootools.js
to disable this open the sliding-door file and search for mootools.js
deactivate the call which loads this copy of mootools.

Also could it be that you have the mooflow shortcode twice in your post?
try with one.

Let me know if these changes work for you.

I know ie is a big part of the real world,
I really really hate trouble shooting ie.
The login plugin was working correctly on ie8 2 versions back.
I never even test ie.
so you could try a previous version,
or maybe login does work in ie but there's some conflict with other code in your site.

can you confirm the error in ie8 with this link please.

"Don't load css, manually add to your theme css file."
which means just that, select this option,
copy the css from the plugin theme file and paste it to the end of your site theme css file.

This option reduces http requests to the server,by combining 2 files into one, but makes your site theme css file larger.

Back in the Super Slider - base config area, under the "File Storage" settings, use "Load css from plugin-data folder location. wp-content/plugin-data/superslider/ssBase/black/ folder.".

This will prevent plugin updates from over writing any edits you make.

be sure if you set option to use custom to edit files in the custom folder.

Hey tman202,
if you still have this issue,
the problem of www or no www is probably related to a seo plugin forcing www or a conflict in your general settings for WP,
check the settings that both:
WordPress address (URL)
Blog address (URL)
either have or don't have www.
check your .htaccess to see if it has a rule to force www.
search for the conflict, and set it to with or without www.

I tried changing the "/Library/WebServer/Documents/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/superslider/plugin-data/superslider/ssBase/default/accordion.css" file - I used CSSedit. Once it looked good, I copied and replaced the accordion.css file's content with the changed version.

When I saved it, and reloaded the page, it still looked the same as before - the default values in that file were still being applied. So, obviously, I had changed the wrong file. I put it back the way it was.

Back in the Super Slider - base config area, under the "File Storage" settings, I am using "Load css from default location. superslider plugin folder.".

Hopefully you can tell me what I am doing wrong?
Ideally, I would like to have it use a css file that I can keep in another directory instead of the default location. I can see there are other options, but I'm not sure how to use them.

Can you please help?

Thanks - again.

By the way, in my previous post here you recommended I disable other plugins to see if Superslider would work after I did so - and it did. I isolated the conflicting plugin, but would like to be able to use it still. Since there is a javascript conflict, is there anything I can do about this so I can use this other plugin?
